Twenty Years Later, Healing Comes Home to the Village

One of Northwell Greenwich Village Hospital’s first patients, Kam Chan, experienced a full-circle moment. Twenty years ago, he underwent a valve replacement at what was then St. Vincent’s Hospital. This year, he returned to NGVH as one of the first patients treated in the new state-of-the-art cath lab. Kam underwent an outpatient angioplasty to relieve chest pain. His experience is a powerful example of the hospital’s ongoing commitment to restoring high-quality, life-saving care in the heart of the Village.
